On December 12, 2019, RAHE Ghana organised educational seminar and participants’ workshop to mark the Universal Health Coverage Day.
Discussion at the program were mainly centered on improving Universal Health Coverage for adolescents in basic schools as well as teenage girls and single mothers in deprived communities. The panelist explored practical approaches towards the attainment of this goal from multidimensional perspectives.
The program was participated by representatives from health care providers, community health nurses, female teachers, single mothers, members of nursing and midwifery council, representatives from the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), the Ghana Health Service, the Social Welfare Department, officials from the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly and media representatives from Pink FM, Atinka Media Village Fm, and DJ Tv.
